A great new application is available for your Symbian mobile phone that will allow the user to set-up some rules, based on certain conditions, that will trigger specific outcomes. Based on the idea that robots perform specific tasks at certain times, they called the application MoBots (Mobile Robots).
Using simple building blocks the user can build these MoBots to do certain things at specific times, or when triggered. The simple user interface to the mobile application allows anybody to set-up an MoBot on their phone without the need of programming experience.
Yellow block represents events capable to awake up your MoBot, like clock, incoming calls and sms, or you enter a cell location or a Bluetooth range..
Green blocks represent conditions that should occur when the MoBots receives the previous event, to allow the execution of the task, like the active profile, time, or location..
Blue blocks represent the actions that will take place automatically when the above is true, like ring, vibrate, place a misscall, send an sms or mms.. etc.
MoBots was recently the winner of a Special Recognition Award for Innovation from Forum Nokia receiving a cool $10,000 for their efforts. Well deserved it was too, I’m amazed that nobody has come up with something like this before.
MoBots is available for various flavours of Symbian mobile running S60 3rd Edition.
You can download MoBots from the MoBots website.
