Today Nokia have announced a new addition to their touchscreen line-up with the introduction of the Nokia 5230. Looking identical to the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Phone, the Nokia 5230 is actually an entry-level touchscreen handset with a few of it’s older brothers features lacking, but coming in at a rather attractive £130.

The Nokia 5230 will appear in a range of colours (black, white, red, pink, lime and blue):

The Nokia 5230 features:
Sadly the handset does not feature WiFi and also it only comes with a 2 megapixel camera, and not a 3 megapixel camera like the Nokia 5800. These will be some of the omissions that will have kept the price down.
A standard Nokia 5230 handset will cost 149 Euros, a Comes With Music version will be available for 259 Euros for those keen on all-you-can-eat downloads. The handset will be available from the last quarter of this year.
